Amakusa 1000 years of human and soil activities
Live with pride, live with the soil
In May 2022, we established a general incorporated association “Amakusa 1000 years of people and soil activities” (commonly known as Amasai) in Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Shunsaku Nakai's assets such as forests and farmlands in Amakusa City, the old village office building, and about 10,000 books on agriculture and the environment will be used as a commons. A commons is a shared asset that everyone uses, manages and operates together. . Based on the commons, we will work to create a prosperous community that coexists with nature and connects with each other.
